And we circle back to Friday.  The definition of Friday, as found in the book of Cram, “Amazeballs!  A perfect day for pure domination.”  Enjoy!  Today we are back to the book.  John C starts to talk about the 9 factors that attract people of significance to one another.

1. The opportunity factor- there is not a single leader on this planet that does not have the opportunity to better mankind.  Those around him also have the same privilege.  “Significant acts almost always occur in response to opportunities.”  What opportunities do you see?  Do you see a way to connect others to significance?  Or is someone inviting you to join him or her in doing something significant?  “If you see it, seize it.”  For what you say yes to will shape your life.  What opportunity do you have right now to make a difference?

2. The belief factor- you have to believe that others want to connect with you?  John C talks about how when he started to ask God to send people who desired significance, God delivered.  And he continues to deliver.  When someone who wants to make a difference comes across your path, do you recognize them?  Do you believe that others want to connect with you to make a difference?  “Belief is essential for significance.  Without belief, you will have a very difficult time living intentionally and striving for significance.”

3. The possibility factor- If you want to live a life of significance, you will have to give up some things.  “The pathway of possibility is filled with trade-offs.  Why?  Because there is no significance without sacrifice.”  But always remember, if you make the right trade-offs, life gets more and more fulfilling.  Every one of us at one time or another is faced with the moment where we have to stop, reflect, and consider our options.  Nearly every choice is a trade-off.  Will we watch TV shows or play outside?  Will we search the web or have a conversation with our spouse?  Will we go to the gym or stay in bed?  Will we read a book or play video games?  EVERY decision has a trade-off!

I have said a million times in this blog that motivation gets you going and self-discipline keeps you growing.  How do you grow?  You select the right trade-offs.  I challenge each one on this thread to take some time today to CHOOSE GOOD TRADE-OFFS!  Make a conscious effort to swap out some average things that you are doing every day for things that will help you progress as a person.  Just a couple changes in routine will make such a gigantic difference in your life.  Today is the day to be great!  Today is the day to do something different!  Today is the day to make some noise!

Yours truly,

Today, Cram
