Man, life really is good on a Wednesday!  Let’s destroy it!  I really like the lesson that John C teaches today.  The first question he asks is, “What have I been given?” (Looking backward).  My extremely long list of blessings would begin with my parents.  When I tell you that Mark and Robyn could not have laid a better foundation for me and my sisters, that is an understatement.  Among the lessons they taught me were how to work hard and be devoted to the important things in life and to always take care of others.  As a result, and as I have said before, one of my life’s purposes is to get at least one person to commit each day to becoming a better version of themselves daily.  Just one person.

What experiences have you had that have uniquely equipped you to add value to others?  “Those experiences could have been positive, or they could be difficult or negative circumstances that you had to overcome.”  As I have said before, some of DishOne’s greatest salesmen and leaders have overcome so much adversity.  Their stories are powerful.  They have taken those trials and used them as defining moments.  These defining moments have shaped them into powerful influencers over many.

What experiences can you pull from?  What wisdom have you gained through your personal ups and downs?  What can you draw from your own experiences to add value to others?  Take a second and ponder this because the answer to this question, because if properly executed, it will change the course of your entire life and the lives of many others as well.  I believe strongly that everyone has some type of inspiring story to tell.  Some stories are more powerful than others.  What makes them powerful?  Facing adversity and blasting through it.  No matter the circumstance, someone pushing through true adversity is an inspiration to me.  And those stories should be told.  If not to anyone else, tell them to me.

If you haven’t picked up on the moral of this story, I will lay it to you straight.  Each of us has a unique ability and a unique story.  And each of these CAN and WILL influence the lives of many others if we just open our mouths and tell that story.  Life is good when you share.
