We circle back to Monday.  That seems to happen about one out of every seven days.  So one out of every seven days, we have the ability to start the week off with an absolute bang!  It is literally a perfect day to take a stand.  It is literally a perfect day to take a chance.  It is literally a perfect day to make some noise.  So let’s go freaking do it!  Speaking of taking chances, I am going to talk off the cuff today and it is going to be about exactly that; taking chances.

One of my favorite quotes is “Live today as if it was impossible to fail.”  I want you to think for a second how much your day would alter if you had a 100% chance of succeeding at EVERYTHING you did.  Damn that sounds good!  The problem is that god did not put us on this earth to be perfect at everything we do.  That would be too easy.  Part of life is without a doubt learning from failures and getting back up when we fall.  But let’s think about this for a second.  If we really did treat today like it is impossible to fail, here is what would happen.  WE WOULD STILL FAIL!  But it wouldn’t matter.  Let’s say that I go at each day with 60% effort.  Why?  Because “I don’t want to get my hopes up” and then have it crash and burn on me.  With that mentality, I am missing out on 40% of my ability every day to grow to my full capacity.

“Of all the sad words of tongue or pen, these are the saddest, it might have been.”

This quote rings in my ears at least once a day.  Sometimes more.  One of my biggest motivations in life is to MAKE SURE that I don’t sit before the judgment bar of God and have him say to me, “You sissy.  I gave you so many opportunities and you went at them at 60%.”  How many of you are going at what God has placed before you at 60%?  Don’t you realize that if you wake up every day and treat it as if you have nothing to lose, you will never end at 60% again.  You will end at 80, and then 85, and then 87, and then 90%.  I have never been so convinced in my life of the fact that God literally sits up there and thinks, “Good heavens, why won’t he/she just try?  Why won’t he/she just give it a shot and go after it with everything they have got?  If you should try, you shall see, what God really has in store for thee.”

TODAY is a great day to make some noise!  RIGHT NOW is a great time to do it!  Go after life at 100% in everything you do.  It will be the single greatest choice of your life when you do.

Yours truly,
Doing it now, Cram
