My good peeps! Today we finish up the concept of S.A.V.E.R.S. I have really enjoyed this concept and look forward to using it in future training sessions. Let’s finish strong!
S=Scribing- “Ideas can come from anywhere and at any time. The problem with making mental notes is that the ink fades very rapidly.” Scribing, or journaling, enables you to document your insights, ideas, breakthroughs, realizations, successes, and lessons learned. It will also help you in the areas of opportunity, personal growth, or improvement.
I will have to confess that I have never really been good at writing in a journal. Mostly because I have never taken the time to realize it’s importance. So what is the value of journaling? First of all, there is a lot of value in deriving our daily thoughts onto paper. I can’t tell you how many times in the passed, I had a good idea, meant to write it down, and now it is a fart in the wind because I didn’t take the time scribe it. Second of all, I can tell that it does enormous amounts of good to go back and review the journals from time to time. Especially at the end of the year.
There really is no method to journaling. The key is to just sit down for 10 or so minutes a day and let the pen flow. Now that I am starting to do this, I start my session by writing things down that I am thankful for, and it just go crazy from there. I will have to admit that I am just getting started, but I feel as though my heart is fuller and my mind is clearer as I do the rest of my studies after I have journaled.
S.A.V.E.R.S., remember that word. For it teaches many of the principles that have collectively changed my life, my productivity, my health, my relationships, and therefore my happiness.
Each of these concepts play a bit of a different role in taking who you are and what you can become to a whole new level. And the beauty of it is that you can do it all in an hour. “Power Hour”, has never been more important. Last night we brought all five kids into the room and played a video on YouTube called “Rise and Shine”. As part of that video, it talks about doing things that the rest of the world isn’t doing so that you can get the results that the rest of the world isn’t getting. One of the fastest ways to achieve that success is to wake up one hour earlier every day. I am telling you that “Power Hour” will change everything about you. So stop making excuses of why you can’t do it, or why it is too late in your life to do it. It’s never too late to make the right choice.
Trying to make good choices, Cram
