Today we have Friday sitting right in front of us, with two decisions to be made. Do we do the norm, or do something great? Greatness sounds sexy to me! I just wanted to begin this blog by telling you that if you have not read “Think and Grow Rich”, you might be missing out on the single greatest book that has ever been written. It is absolutely amazing! Today one the things he says is that “Faith removes limitation.” So much power behind three short words. Much of the world makes the decision every day to live in fear. They worry about their finances. They second guess every decision they make. They don’t trust other people for whatever reason. They have a real hard time taking risks. They gravitate towards comfort, average, and mediocre. All because they are literally scared.
Let me ask you a question. What do you have to lose if you started to live in faith? How far would your life go if you started to believe in yourself and your ability to progress, succeed, and do great things? What would happen if you started to trust people first? I never understood the mentality of “Let’s see if he can earn my trust”, even though that person has never done anything to compromise the trust between the two people in the first place.Trust first, then make adjustments later. I can’t tell you how many deals I have done in the past with a handshake and a head nod. And yes, sometimes it bites me in the ass and I make adjustments. But my life has been blessed in so many ways because of it.
Do you live in fear or do you live in faith? Do you believe that God will bless you with a safe day or do you run around worrying about things every time you jump in a car? Do you move through your day with complete confidence that you personally can make a difference at home, work, the community, and the world? I literally won’t stop until I make a ding on the entire planet. And my faith to get there has never been greater. I have failed over and over and over again. Made so many mistakes that it would make your head spin. But yet, I still believe. One of the best remedies to failure is faith. The ability to keep moving forward with your eye on the prize.
Life is too freaking short to sit around and worry. My goodness, have some fun. Rock the boat a little. Break some rules. Smash out of your comfort zone and BELIEVE!
Life is good,
