Good morning, everybody! Life is good. Today we talk about the 3 simple ways to create affirmations. Just a reminder, that if you use the power of affirmations in your life, it will take you a telescope to look back at how far you will have come. Here is what I have learned, combined with what the book says.
- What You Really Want – “The purpose of a written affirmation is to program your mind with the beliefs, attitudes, and habits that are vital to your being able to attract, create and to sustain your ideal level of success in every area of your life.” I have always followed the rule of making sure that my goals, and therefore my affirmations, are in alignment with bringing balance to a busy life. I have a goal, or goals, when it comes to physical fitness, spiritual strength, financial stability, educational growth, and family relationships. And those are what make up my affirmations. “I am so happy and grateful that I, Marc Cram, become a better husband, father, son, friend, and person every day.”
- Why You Want It – “The wise begin with why’s.” Everyone wants to be successful, but unfortunately their whys in life aren’t strong enough to get them out of bed early, get them to knock in the rain, and get them to put down the TV remote to increase relationships. Those that know their purpose, are the ones that can resist temptation. And the stronger the why, the more powerful the results.
- What Are You Committed to Do to Attain It – Which actions will you need to take to get to where you want to go? If you are wanting to lose weight, your affirmation would look something like this. “I am 100% committed to going to the gym 5 days a week for an hour at a time” and “I am so happy and grateful that I, Marc Cram was able to lose 20 lbs. between January 1, 2017 and June 1, 2017.”
Again, the key during affirmations is to do the following:
- Write them down
- Say them in the mirror
- Visualize them as if they already happened
Once again, I really can’t begin to tell you where my life has gone since I discovered affirmations.
At this point in life, I have no fears.
I have learned that with the power of positive affirmations and becoming what you think, that I will always be financially blessed, have great relationships, live a healthy life, and be happy.
Time to bless your life too.
Affirmations for freaking days, Cram
