My good peeps.  I hope this email finds each of you doing fantastic and that each of you had as great of a 4th of July as I did.  I am still waiting for my book to come in the mail to jump back in where we left off.  Until then, after yesterday’s festivities, I am in the mood to give thanks.

As I have said before, I believe strongly that I stand as one of the most blessed people on this planet.  As I sat and watched the fireworks, surrounded by many people that I love, I couldn’t help but be reminded of that.  First of all, we live in a great country. In fact, we live in a fantastic country.  One that brings us an opportunity for abundance that is beyond our imagination.

I watched a video on Facebook a few days ago of a young girl from North Korea.  Before she had escaped, she witnessed family members being executed and raped for not following rules.  We the people of America are very blessed to live in a land that is free.  And so many people have worked so hard and continue to leave their families to this day to fight for our freedom.  And for that, I am extremely grateful as well.

I am also extremely grateful for my family.  I know you all know that because I talk about them about in one way or another on every other blog.  Holly was reading a letter that Steve Jobs wrote right before he died, and to be quite honest with you, it made me so sad for him and especially his family.  He basically was on his death bed pleading with others to love your family more than anything else.  He had spent his life loving his job first.  And he described his final hours as very dark because there was so much regret.  I am so grateful for my family, friends, and loved ones.  I will fight for them until the day I die.  Leaving no regret!  I challenge you to do the same.

I am also thankful for God.  He is the creator of all, and everything I have, has come from him.  Everything!  If God is not an extremely active part of your life, find him.  You need him.  We all need him.

I am so thankful for my job and the fulfillment that it brings me.  I LOVE the people I work with.  They bring hope to the world.  The stories they are creating are inspiring and are what get me up in the morning.  They are true ambassadors of hard work and doing things the right way.

I am thankful for trials in my life.  Kids with special needs, sicknesses, divorce, and mixed families make for some crazy times to say the least.  But I would not have it any other way.  For it builds character and it prepares us to withstand the tests of time.

I am so thankful for health.  You forget how amazing it is to be healthy until you aren’t healthy anymore.  I am so grateful for legs and arms that work, and mind that is strong, and so much more.  Health stands as one of the things that I am most thankful for.

I really could sit here for several hours going over the lists and lists of blessings that I have.  I don’t do this to boast on the things that I have.  I do this to always make sure that I remind myself where they come from.

#Godisgood

Yours truly,
Couldn’t be happier, Cram
