As I will continue to say on every single Monday until the end of time, go make it happen today and set the tone for the rest of your week. Today the book is talking more about searching until you find your why. I believe strongly that each person was put on this earth with very unique qualities. I also believe that God placed enough abundance on the earth for every single one of us to be wealthy and happy, if we tap into those unique qualities and find out how we can use them to help shape our homes, communities, and maybe even the world; depending on how big you think.
Why is knowing your why so important? If you want to make a difference and live a life of significance, you must tap into your why. “Your why is the life’s blood of your of intentional living. If you know your why and focus on going there with fierce determination, you can make sense of everything on your journey because you see it through the lens of your why.” Have you ever started packing for a vacation weeks in advance because you are so excited to go? Whatever your path in life is supposed to be, you will be able to do things more significantly because you understand your purpose for being there.
Mark Erskine dropped a sick quote in correlation out in Kansas City yesterday that I think is very applicable to this. “Heroes write their story at the beginning of the day and victims write it at the end.” When you start your day with your why, you will find yourself continually doing things that inspire you. When I speak of my purpose in life, it gets me emotional every time. It is who I am and what I strive so fervently to become. It is what gets me up early in the morning, pushes me through obstacle after obstacle after obstacle, it helps me to get back up when I fall, and it helps me to truly enjoy life. To me, living your why is the same thing as living your dreams. Remember, every human on this earth has a purpose. Have you found yours yet? If not, chase after that mother with everything you have got. Because without it, your life will simply be second best.
