Happy Tuesday! I hope this email finds every one doing awesome and enjoying life. Today, we continue to talk about the best ways to be able to grow.
- Focus on the Moment – The changes that we want to make in our lives only come in the present. What we do now controls who we become and where we are in the future. We live and work in the present. I love when he says that “if you need to make a change in yourself and in your environment, don’t worry about the past.” That will get you no where. You have to focus on today. You have to focus on NOW! How great would it be if someone were to ask you the question “What was the happiest moment of your life” that you would be able to quickly answer, “Right now!”
Mother Teresa once said,
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We only have today. Let us begin.
Again, do not focus on your past. You can’t change it. Don’t worry about your future because you can’t control it. Focus on the current moment and what you can do now.
- Move Forward Despite Criticism – Do not wait for a change of environment before you act. Create a change of environment through action. Most people underestimate themselves. They shoot for what they know they can reach. Instead, they should reach for what is beyond their grasp, despite the criticism and failures they might encounter. We have talked about this subject quite a bit in the past. Too many people live their lives based off of fear instead of failure. Who do you represent to the chore? Which type? Fear or faith? And why? Why do you let the opinion of others get in the way of your success? Or why do you judge yourself so harshly from the past? Or why do you limit your personal belief? And how do you stop it? You stop it by just jumping. Because the longer you sit on Fear Island, the harder it will be to get off and the less you will trust people or yourself.
The more you wake up in the morning, and continue it throughout the rest of your day by saying, “I, Marc Cram am the biggest bad ass on the planet, and I will accomplish all of my goals and dreams with ease”, the more it will become a reality. I changed up my kids affirmations a bit this last week. Now Boston says repeatedly, “I believe in myself and I will not be stopped. I can accomplish anything.” And Beckham says, “I do not quit. I will succeed”, over and over. Ashton says, “the whole world steps aside for the woman that knows where she is going.” It all starts within. Believe and you will achieve!
Affirmations for days, Cram
