Well guys, today is Monday.  What are you going to do with it?  Remember that it sets the tone for the rest of the week.  You might as well not wait until tomorrow.  Now is the perfect time to get better and do more and therefore, become more.  We continue on with how to most effectively write your story.

3. Put your strengths in your story- You have skills and abilities that can help others.  Can you be the best in the world using them?  The answer to that question is, absolutely!  “No one else has exactly your skills and experiences, opportunities and obstacles, timing and gifts.”  Each of us are unique and are able to contribute to the world something a little bit different than anyone else.  You just have to be willing to get into your story.  Your talent will become the leverage in your life for creating the significance story you want to live.   So to write the greatest story you could every write, you have to believe that your story has value.  You have to believe that you strengths can change the world.

“Significance begins in the heart.”

This comes when we desire to make a difference.  We see a need.  We want to help.  “Passion is the soul of significance.  It’s the fuel.  It’s the core.”  Do you desire to make a difference to someone besides yourself?  Truth is, the more lives you desire to make a difference in, the more fulfilled you will be and the happier you will become.

In tis section of the book, he touches on using the tools and resources that are available to us to help write the story.  I could not agree with him more.  Guys, everything I know, I stole from someone else.  I read it in a book, watched it online, or learned it in a classroom.  Then I tweaked it, and made it my own.  I cannot even begin to tell you how much learning has shaped who I am.  It is so much easier to go through life, dodge freaking bullets, and coming out on top financially, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and educationally.  Learning from the experts and applying what they teach with put you on the fast track to where you want to go.  Don’t be stubborn.  Being stubborn= being stupid.  Have the desire to learn every day from the people who have been there, done that.
