Today is going to be a great day! I just came off an incredible study session. I have read about the principles that I am going to talk on today so many times, but yet there are still so many new ideas that I picked up on today. Monday is a huge day. Once again, we have one of two choices.
- Be average, and do the same damn thing over and over.
- Do something great.
Make the choice to be great! Don’t be intimidated by the thought. Just go for it! Things have a way of working out great for those that put in the continuous effort. Today we talk about concentration (visualization). I have said on the blog before that visualization is a lost art. Many people find this concept to be very abstract and hard to follow. I felt the same thing for the first several days of trying it. But, I can not begin to tell you enough how much it had spring-boarded my life to a whole new level.
Concentration is one of the main keys to getting what you want in life. Seeing in your mind what it is that you want to possess. Here are a couple things I have learned about this concept. One, the subconscious mind does not know the difference between one and one billion, so you might as well aim high. Two, the subconscious mind takes any order it is given with absolute faith and acts upon those orders. The key is that the subconscious mind needs repetition to be able to interpret what it is that you are saying. In other words, this concept won’t work the first time you do it.
So, let’s bring this all together. First, you will sit down and map out all the things that you want the most in life, and know what that is to an absolute science. For example, let’s say you want $100,000 saved, to drop down to 200 lbs, to have the best relationship you have ever had with your spouse, etc. Once you know what it is that you want, know the exact day you want it. If you want $100,000 saved by December 31, 2017, as part of your visualizations, imagine yourself logging into your online bank account and seeing that $100,000 number in bold. Then look down at the calendar sitting next to your desk and see the date of December 31, 2017 on your calendar. Then, feel the excitement run through your body. Final step, visualize what service you are to give in return when you hit it. An example would be imagining yourself helping someone in need. It is always important to remember what it is you are going to give back.
Once again, this concept will seem very uncomfortable and unorthodox in the beginning, but it works. You see, the universe and the Creator of it want us to be explosively rich, happy, healthy, and giving. We just have to ask for it and act upon it.
