My good peeps!  I wanted to welcome you to Monday.  As a reminder, Monday sets the tone for the rest of the week.  Start strong, aim high, and be great this week!  The last couple of days the book has been talking about leadership.  Leaders rule the world.  One of the things it talks about is that there are two types of people; leaders and followers, and that the difference in compensation is vastly different.  So what is a leader then?  If I want to take over the world and make incredible money doing it, what does a man have to have?

1. Unwavering courage and self-confidence
2. Self-control
3. A keen sense of justice
4. Definitiveness of decision
5. Definitiveness of plans
6. The habit of doing more than is paid for
7. A pleasing personality
8. Sympathy and understanding
9. Mastery of detail
10. Willingness to assume full responsibility
As I reflect back on the various leaders that I have had the privilege to work with during the course of my life, the quality that really sticks out to me is genuine concern and love for me as an individual.  And that does not only mean sympathy.  These leaders showed me love by putting me in my place, disciplining me, and showing me tough love.  They came at me hard when it needed to be done.  They are men and women of passion that love what they do and strive to make all those around them better.  Leadership will always be something that is earned, NEVER given.  You might be given a title, but you will always have to earn the leadership stripes.  Leadership doesn’t go to bed.  A great leader is consistent 24 hours a day.  A leader can’t choose when to turn his leadership on and off.  Leadership works on the weekends as well.
I am grateful every day to the leaders in my life that have taken the time to shape me into who I am today.  One of my #1 goals is to raise up as many cold-stone killer leaders as possible.  Leaders that are willing to set aside money, fame, and recognition, to do something that is great.  Something that will change the lives of generations to come!
Be great today!
Yours truly,
Leadership rules the world, Cram
