Yo peeps, it’s Friday! Hell to the yes. I just want you to know that it is 7:30 in the morning, and I have already been to the gym for 1.5 hours, did my goals and affirmations, 15 minutes of spiritual study, 15 minutes of self-development reading, and exercised my knee. Most of the world is just waking up right now. My point is, if you want to get ahead in life, it’s a choice. I fought like hell to get out of bed this morning at 5:00. But I chose to do what most the world wouldn’t have chosen to do. If you want to have the success that most the world does not have, do what the rest of the world is not willing to do.

Championships aren’t made in the ring; they are merely recognized there.

Today we continue to talk about the art of reflection, and how stopping to “smell the roses” makes such a huge difference in our lives. John C. Maxwell says that there are good questions at the heart of reflection. Tony Robbins once said,

Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers.

Here are some of the questions that you can ask yourself to develop personal awareness:

  1. What is My Biggest Asset? – I decided to put this question to the test and determined that one of my greatest assets is my attitude. As I have said before, I truly believe that if you are doing your very best that everything happens for a purpose. Because of that belief, I have decided to do my best to have a great attitude no matter what the trial or tribulation is. Am I perfect? Not in the least bit. But by recognizing that attitude is one of my greatest assets, it has not only helped me to really focus on having the cup half-full mentality, but it has helped me to push to teach the same mentality to as many others that will listen to the words come out of my mouth.

Knowing who you are is so important in the process of development and finding happiness in life. And a lot of that comes thru asking yourself the right questions to uncover it.
