One day, men and women from all over the world will gather to marvel in what we accomplished on Wednesdays. Get it! We continue on today with the questions you should be asking yourself when it comes to finding your passion and your purpose. Just a reminder, that you have NO chance for true success and happiness in life if you do not KNOW and FOLLOW your purpose.

7. Should you do what you would like to do with them? If you are someone who is dedicated to personal growth, you will always be learning from many people in many places. Being mentored by someone who is successful in your area of interest has great value. When you find a mentor, make sure to have the following:

– A teachable spirit

– Always be prepared for the time you get with your mentor
– Set the agenda by asking great questions
– Demonstrate how you’ve learned from your time together
– Be accountable for what you’ve learned

Along with being mentored by someone, look for opportunities to mentor as well. Adding value to other peoples lives will bring you joy. Let me say it again. Serving and teaching other people will bless your life in so many ways. I was reading another book earlier this morning, and it was talking about this exact concept. It used examples such as: Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa and Albert Schweitzer. It talked about these people living and dying by two principles. One, they loved to learn. They spent their entire lives learning new concepts. They strove to be better every single day. Second, they passed those concepts onto as many that would hear the words come out of their mouths. And because of that, they blessed their lives and the lives of millions of others as well. Take time every day to add value to other peoples lives. To your friends, to your co-workers, to your children, to your spouse, and to those in need. You never know how much you smiling or asking the gas station clerk how her day is going will change the course of her entire day. You have the ability to change peoples lives. You have the ability to make a difference. Let your light so shine on others. And as it does, your light will only get brighter!
